Ashley J. Weathersby is a Texas attorney and lifelong advocate for families and community justice. A native of Victoria, Texas, she currently resides in Port O’Connor, Texas with her husband, children, and beloved pets.

Ms. Weathersby graduated from the University of Houston in 2003, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a minor in International History. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked in business-to-business sales with T-Mobile USA Corporate, where she developed a strong foundation in negotiation, client relations, and strategic problem-solving.

Driven by a passion for advocacy, Ms. Weathersby enrolled in South Texas College of Law, graduating in 2008. She has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas since 2009 and has owned and managed her own law firm for the majority of her legal career.

Her primary areas of practice include family law, wills and estate planning, probate, consumer law, credit repair, real estate, and property tax disputes. She is particularly known as a fierce advocate for equal rights for fathers, bringing both compassion and tenacity to every case she handles.

Ms. Weathersby is a long-term member of the Texas Bar College, a professional society of legal scholars recognized for leadership, commitment to legal education, and high ethical standards. She is also a long-standing member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Her commitment to service extends beyond private practice. She has provided pro bono legal representation to indigent individuals and victims of domestic violence through Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. She is a former board member of Golden Crescent CASA and the Victoria County Child Welfare Board, organizations dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of children involved with Child Protective Services.
